From May 13 to 14, 2026, the 5th AltFuels Mexico Conference and Exhibition was held at the Edoméx Conference Center in Toluca, Mexico. Hosted by the AltFuels Communications Group, this exhibition serves as Latin America’s most influential professional B2B platform for alternative fuels and sustainable transportation. It comprehensively showcased innovative applications of diverse alternative fuel technologies—including CNG, LNG, LPG, and biomethane—across various scenarios such as commercial vehicles, marine vessels, and mining operations.
Ju Xiaofeng, President of the Energy Equipment and Engineering Business Center at CIMC ENRIC, and Vice President Xu Yongsheng attended the exhibition alongside key members of their regional sales team.

At the exhibition venue, CIMC ENRICpresented a complete portfolio of core equipment and system solutions spanning the entire value chain for natural gas, industrial gases, and LPG. Core equipment—including LNG storage tanks, cryogenic tank containers, CNG tube trailers, LNG vaporization stations, LNG refueling stations, small-scale cryogenic tanks, and LPG semi-trailers—was showcased collectively. This display constructed a comprehensive product matrix covering everything from storage and transportation to refueling and terminal applications. The exhibit attracted energy enterprises, engineering firms, and logistics operators from Mexico and various other Latin American nations, who stopped to engage in exchanges and conduct in-depth business discussions.

Ms. Cusati highlighted an integrated “Sea-to-Terminal” LNG solution. This innovative approach employs a combined model of “Floating Storage Unit (FSU) offloading + tank container barge/road truck transfer + onshore regasification” to establish an LNG “virtual pipeline” in regions lacking physical pipeline infrastructure. By leveraging a multimodal transport strategy combining sea and road logistics, this solution ensures flexible gas supply. Having already undergone successful validation in relevant regions, the model is currently being replicated and implemented in the Colombian market. She emphasized that once implemented, this project will ensure a stable supply of natural gas to over 40 million people in Colombia. Ecopetrol—Colombia’s national oil company—has positively appraised this initiative, recognizing it as an effective measure to hedge against medium-term uncertainties in energy supply while safeguarding energy security for both regional households and industries.

Addressing the practical challenges of unstable power supply and lack of grid coverage in Latin America’s remote sites, industrial parks, and data centers, CIMC ENRIC has launched a comprehensive suite of distributed LNG power generation solutions with power outputs ranging from 22 kW to over 30 MW. Featuring a modular design that ensures short construction cycles and flexible scalability, these solutions utilize LNG as a clean fuel source to deliver highly efficient, low-emission power—serving either as independent off-grid supplies or as grid-connected peak-shaving systems. This solution can function as a primary power source to guarantee stable energy access for industrial parks, mining sites, and remote regions; alternatively, it can complement renewable energy sources—such as solar and wind power—to establish a diversified energy storage and peak-shaving ecosystem. Thanks to its advantages of flexibility, cost-effectiveness, low carbon footprint, and reliability, the solution has garnered high acclaim from local energy operators and industrial end-users.
