Project Milestone: Core Tank Assembly Successfully Completed

With the final spherical shell plate precisely positioned, the core tank assembly of the project was completed. This marks a phased victory in the main structure construction of this overseas project, signifying its formal transition to the welding process. This milestone lays a solid foundation for subsequent equipment commissioning, system integration, and on-time project delivery.

Strategic Significance: Overcoming Bottlenecks and Completing the Industrial Chain

The Lobito Refinery is a key national strategic project for Angola, designed with an annual crude oil processing capacity of 10 million tons and a total investment of approximately USD 6 billion. The project aims to overcome Angola's crude oil processing bottlenecks and complete the layout of the entire petrochemical industry chain.

Hongtu Company is responsible for the construction of 4 units of 8800 m³ spherical tanks and 1 unit of 1700 cubic meter spherical tank within the Phase I project. The scope of work includes detailed design, material procurement, domestic manufacturing, domestic transportation to designated ports, and on-site installation of the spherical tanks and their attachments. With a total volume of 8800 m³, this spherical tank is one of the largest single equipment items in the project by volume and among the most technically demanding storage facilities.

Excellent Execution: Safety and Efficiency in Building an Overseas Benchmark

As the first spherical tank project undertaken by Jingmen Hongtu in Angola, it has received high-level attention from company leadership since its initiation. The company promptly established a project team, accurately allocated various resources, and dispatched an experienced project management team to fully commit to advancing the project at the overseas construction site. The entire project department worked cohesively, fundamentally adhering to American standard management systems, and implemented multiple measures such as optimizing construction plans, refining process control, and strengthening on-site technical support to solidly build quality control defenses. Throughout the construction process, the project team consistently adhered to the "safety first, prevention foremost" principle, establishing a full-process safety control mechanism. For high-risk activities such as aerial work and large component lifting, specialized safety plans were developed, and pre-task safety and technical briefings were implemented, achieving zero safety risks and zero accidents throughout the assembly process. Through efficient collaboration and lean construction, the project team completed the assembly of the first 8800 m³ spherical tank with high quality in just 10 days, pressing the "fast-forward button" for the tank construction and achieving a critical phased milestone.

The successful assembly of the first large spherical tank has laid a solid foundation for the lifting and assembly of the subsequent three tanks. The project management capability, efficient execution, and strict safety control demonstrated by our project team have established a profound foundation for deepening cooperation between the two parties.

In the future, CIMC Enric will take this project as an opportunity to achieve the goal of "building a project and establishing a monument". It will spare no effort to make it a benchmark demonstration project in the field of overseas energy equipment, polish the brand of overseas products, contribute to the "going global" of Made in China, and help promote global energy transformation and sustainable development.
