From April 15 to 17, 2026, the highly anticipated Naturgas Conference and Exhibition was grandly held at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center in Colombia. As the most influential natural gas industry event in Colombia and the wider Latin America-Caribbean region, this year’s exhibition was hosted by the Colombian Natural Gas Association, bringing together top experts and corporate representatives from the global energy sector to discuss natural gas development, energy transition, and regional energy challenges and opportunities.

CIMC ENRIC’s Energy Equipment and Engineering Business Center made a joint appearance alongside several member companies—including its U.S. subsidiary, Chart-Darling, Jingmen Hongtu, Gas Machinery, and CIMC Engineering Technology. Under the theme “Empowering a Sustainable Future Through a Full Clean Energy Value Chain,” the group showcased a comprehensive array of key equipment, core processes, and integrated service capabilities covering the entire natural gas lifecycle: from offshore receiving and onshore regasification to land transport and storage, and finally, terminal applications. Through scenario-based exhibits and customized solutions, CIMC ENRIC fully demonstrated its profound strength as a comprehensive service provider in the global clean energy sector, emerging as a major industry highlight and focal point of the exhibition.
On the eve of the exhibition, Luo Xuming—President of CIMC ENRIC’s U.S. subsidiary (under the Energy Center)—was invited to attend a special forum on “Colombia LNG Import Projects.” This event was jointly organized by the Colombian Maritime Authority and Regasificadora del Pacífico S.A.S., a prominent local energy company. Serving as a keynote speaker at the forum, Mr. Luo addressed the theme “The LNG Market and the Future of Natural Gas,” providing an in-depth analysis of the application advantages of LNG across various scenarios, including heavy-duty trucking, power generation, railway locomotives, and marine bunkering and propulsion.

He placed particular emphasis on the RDP project in Colombia, which CIMC ENRIC is currently executing. This project features an integrated solution encompassing “offshore receiving via FSU (Floating Storage Unit) — containerized transport — onshore regasification — and pipeline injection,” thereby presenting a complete and highly efficient pathway for the utilization of natural gas from its offshore source to its final terminal application. Luo Xuming emphasized that the core of the RDP project lies not merely in the supply of individual pieces of equipment, but rather in the capability to provide highly customized systems that are deeply aligned with Colombia’s specific port conditions, road infrastructure, energy distribution patterns, and industrial requirements. Through this forum, CIMC ENRIC fully demonstrated its professional prowess in rapidly formulating customized solutions tailored to diverse client application scenarios, thereby significantly bolstering its brand influence within Colombia and across the entire Latin American region.
Throughout the exhibition, CIMC ENRIC’s booth attracted a large number of industry professionals and visitors, drawing them in with its demonstrated expertise spanning the entire clean energy value chain. In particular, the “end-to-end” integrated solution—exemplified by the Colombian RDP project—emerged as a focal point of discussion within the exhibition area.
To address the complex operational environments and rapidly escalating energy demands of the Latin American market, CIMC ENRIC showcased a comprehensive array of key equipment, including LNG storage tanks, LNG semi-trailers, LNG refueling stations, CNG cylinder bundles, and LPG semi-trailers. The on-site sales team engaged in in-depth discussions with clients from various Latin American nations, exploring customized collaboration strategies centered on real-world scenarios—ranging from natural gas importation to end-use applications. Attendees unanimously lauded CIMC ENRIC for its comprehensive capabilities, which span the entire spectrum from equipment manufacturing and engineering services to the delivery of holistic solutions.
As a global leader and integrated service provider specializing in key equipment manufacturing, core process technologies, and holistic solutions, CIMC ENRIC leverages the inherent advantages of its group-wide operational structure to consistently generate value for both new and long-standing clients worldwide. Its core competitiveness resides not only in its comprehensive equipment portfolio—which covers the entire clean energy value chain—but, more importantly, in its ability to delve deep into clients’ actual operational scenarios to deliver customized solutions that are “tailor-made” and “adapted to local conditions.”
